Tapis Keshan, noué à la main, en provenance de la ville de Keshan et de ses environs, dans le centre de l'Iran.
On y tissait déjà d'excellents tapis sous la dynastie des Séfévides (1502-1736).
Les tapis sont denses, noués au n?ud persan, la chaîne et la trame sont en coton, et la laine du velours est de grande qualité.
Le décor est composé de figures joliment dessinées de médaillons, de niches, d'arbres et de motifs figuratifs, mais on rencontre aussi des motifs floraux répétitifs.
Les tons dominants sont le bleu, le rouge et le beige.
